DESCRIPTION:This is a Benefit Gig for the Welsh Refugee Council.\nHaving fled devastating and dangerous conditions in their own countries\, refugees often face hostility and hardship in the countries they hoped to find sanctuary in.\nThe Welsh Refugee Council works to support Asylum seekers and Refugees in Wales to build their lives here.\n“Welsh Refugee Council is the beginning of the end of the trauma.  It is where the running stops and recovery starts”\nWRC help people to find a place to stay\, work to support themselves\, access to English classes\, legal advice and so forth.\n\nPerformances by:\n\nThe Quiet Ranters\n\nThe Quiet Ranters are a 4 piece acappella group blending styles and languages.\nThey sing songs of Revolution\, Hope\, Peace and Humour in an engaging and uplifting performance .\n\nThe Bodhi Medlars\n\nThe Bodhi Medlars are a saxophone\, fiddle and accordion Trio playing Eastern European songs from Hungary to Turkey and Greece. Fast\, furious and fun!\n\nSkylark\n\nSkylark are sax\, vocals and guitar playing jazz and world music grooves\, including Latin and African.
