Julia grew up in Llantrisant, near Cardiff, and now has returned to South Wales - Abergavenny, after many years away in London and Norway.  She studied a B.A. degree at St Martins School of Art, and a postgraduate diploma at Royal Academy of Arts, Schools, London where she concentrated on composition.  After returning from living in Norway, Julia taught at Chelsea School of Art for 12 years before re-locating to the Brecon Beacons.   -----------------------------------   Living on the edge of the Brecon Beacons is to be on the doorstep of dramatic, wild and sometimes remote nature and the inspiration for [...]

In 2020, the pandemic scuppered any thoughts of a live festival and a virtual event evolved. One of the videos included, which was produced in Argentina for us by Tango Jazz Quartet, explores the blending of the two genres of music. The Future Is Us Exhibition

Exhibition for 'The Future Is Us Project', a project to empower and listen to young people between the ages of 10 and 25 culminating in performances, a film and exhibition. Open for viewing every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 1 - 4pm until 15th December.
