Learn traditional cross-stitch techniques passed down through\ngenerations\, connect with community\, and explore the deep history\nand symbolism behind these beautiful geometric patterns.\n\nAll skill levels are welcome — no prior sewing experience is needed!\n\n\nBRING YOUR OWN CLOTHING!\nInstead of stitching on standard canvas\, this unique workshop will\nteach you how to embellish your own belongings.\n\n* What to bring: Please bring a plain textile item or an article of\n  your own clothing (such as a denim jacket\, tote bag\, canvas pouch\,\n  or cotton shirt).\n* What we provide: We will provide waste canvas\, embroidery threads\,\n  and needles.\n\nYou will learn how to work a beautiful Tatreez motif directly onto\nyour garment\, removing the waste canvas at the end for a perfect\,\nseamless finish!
