SUMMARY:FOLK TALES with Taff Rapids
DESCRIPTION:There is a rise in the popularity of Americana in the UK and these seasoned performers have come together to create Cardiff’s newest bluegrass band.\nTaff Rapids Stringband brings the skills of Siôn Russell Jones\, David Grubb\, Josh Goodey and Darren Eedens together around the mic in the old Bluegrass tradition to share songs of times past. \nLovers of fiddle and banjo will not want to miss their quick pickin’ and high and lonesome harmonies!! \nThere are no amps or drums here\, just acoustic instruments\, energy and tradition. \nMae’r poblogrwydd o gerddoriaeth Americana wedi codi yn y Ddeyrnas Unedig a mae’r perfformwyr brofiadol hyn wedi dôd at ei gilydd i ddod a gerddoriaeth bluegrass i Gaerdydd. Mae’r TAFF RAPIDS STRINGBAND yn uno sgiliau Siôn Russell Jones\, David Grubb\, Josh Goodey a Darren Eedens er mwyn harnesio’r steil traddodiadol a cyffrous yma mewn ffordd cyfoes. Mae nhw’n chwarae’n gyflym ac yn canu yn gytgord – mae’n siwr fydd cefnogwyr o’r ffidil a’r banjo ddim eisiau eu golli nhw’n chwarae. Does dim amps neu drymiau yma\, dim ond egni\, angerdd a traddodiad.
