An Evening of Storytelling and Music

Indulge in a spell-binding evening with the accomplished storytellers Guto and Megan – prepare to be transported into other worlds!
BELIEVE IT OR NOT! is an evening of Storytelling and music, featuring:
Guto Davis and Megan Lloyd, introduced by Richard Berry.
The performance begins at 7.30pm, with the bar open from 7pm.
Suitable for adults and children 12 years and over.

Guto Dafis tells stories with energy and humour, wryness and warmth. He is also a musician; he punctuates and enlivens his storytelling performances with song and the music of his melodeon, and he has a musician’s sense of pace and dynamics in his delivery of a tale.

He has performed many times at the Beyond the Border International Storytelling Festival (St Donats, and latterly Llandeilo), as well at other festivals in Wales and England (Mekonville, Suffolk; Tafwyl, Cardiff; Aberystwyth Storytelling Festival; Festival at the Edge, Shropshire). He has also delighted audiences as far afield as Brittany (The Welsh Pavilion at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient), the Netherlands (Galerie Josine Bokhoven, Amsterdam), Italy (Suns Peraulis Musichis des Menorancis, Udine) and the UAE (Tales on an Island, Sharjah).

Historic sites at which he has appeared this year include Tretower Court, Castell Coch, Caerleon Roman Baths and Chepstow Castle.

“a gifted teller … with a relaxed and easy style that is guaranteed to draw you in” (Carl Gough, Swansea Storytelling)
