Infectious African Rhythms blended with Western Jazz.

The fabulous guitarist Chris Cobson draws on his Ghanaian roots to create a show blended of tantalising rhythms.   We have Chris on guitars, Phil Dawson – second guitar, Paul Jefferies – basses and Richard Olatunde Baker on percussion creating a kaleidoscope of colour, atmosphere and pace. Chris was one of the original members of Courtney Pine’s Jazz Warriors and he has performed with Osibissa, Ghanain jazz ensemble Baraka and many more national and international musical ensembles. He has now formed this quartet who brilliantly showcase the musical amalgamation of African and Western jazz sounds. Not to be missed!
