John Goodby and David Annwn present a dramatised performance and reading of their ground-breaking and irreverent version of Giraldus Cambrensis’ seminal journey through Wales. This was an expedition to raise men to fight in the Third Crusade, but Gerald and his fellow travellers encountered a wild environment: a land of sudden ambushes, theft and murder, of improbable tales and strange visions, of healing trees and impromptu levitations. Join David and John on their foray into a mysterious scape where superstition and myths multiply and language bristles with strange possibilities.
