Blaenavon Male Voice Choir Open Rehearsal Evening

The Choir – over 110 years old and busier than ever. Blaenavon Male Voice Choir has been an institution in the town of Blaenavon for over a century and celebrated its centenary in 2010. The official founding of the Blaenavon Male Voice Choir took place in 1910, although organized male harmony singing in the Welsh town of Blaenavon goes back as far as 1873. The Choir has over the past year performed in many concerts in both England and Wales under the guidance of our M.D.Mr Andrew Protheroe Jones culminating with the Choir performing with the Welsh National Opera in their performance of “Blaze of Glory” at the Bristol Hippodrome. Taking our rehearsals “on the road” has culminated in the Choir increasing its chorister numbers. If you would like to join this forward thinking Choir – come and talk to us at any time or go to www.bmvc.org for more info’ or go to  our Facebook Page.
