This February half term Tessa Bide Productions presents their beautiful puppetry show for ages 3-8 and their families. Mixing up tap dance, stunning puppetry, live ukulele-ing and a beautiful story, The Tap Dancing Mermaid is a magical, mystical story about Marina Skippett, who creeps out of her house every night to shuffle and stomp on the boardwalk to the sounds of the sea.

Abergavenny Film Society present Bangla Surf Girls, a film showing the struggle of being pressured into conforming to tradition despite your aspirations and the resilience in young women to push against the social tide.

Tai Chi

Monday evenings, 7 - 8pm This practice helps to improve and maintain strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, concentration and breathing. The Li Style Tai Chi is also known as the "Square Yard Short Form" Style, as it's actions can be performed within a small confined area, making it very accessible for all.  In this style, movements are performed slowly, gently and smoothly, immediately helping to improve health and mental wellbeing.
