Don’t miss a unique performance of new writing Finding a Voice is a creative writing group, facilitated by writer/performer Liz Pearce. The group first met as part of the Abergavenny Writing Festival. Since then Finding a Voice have continued to meet, working with Liz, using a creative process to stimulate and develop new writing. The group write together and individually, exploring different themes and finding resonance in personal experience and in the world around us. Melville Centre Cafe-Bar The Melville Centre, Pen-y-Pound, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, United KingdomZoë Skoulding is a poet and literary critic interested in translation, sound and ecology. She is Professor of Poetry and Creative Writing at Bangor University. Her latest collection of poems from Carcanet Press is Do I Look Like an Atmosphere? (2026), following A Marginal Sea in 2022, which was shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year. Mark Blayney writes fiction, poetry, scripts and journalism. His novella Two kinds of silence won the Somerset Maugham Prize, while his poetry has been longlisted for the National Poetry Competition, and his journalism won a Wales Media Award.
