For those learners who have completed the Intermediate level course
and also, for those who are familiar with the main language patterns,
this is an opportunity to come together and enhance your language skills.

With face-to-face learning, develop and improve your speaking skills and
enjoy reading, watching and listening in Welsh.
Classes are fun and informal and hosted by Rhys Jones – we are grateful to
have such dynamic in-person learning available in Abergavenny!

An informal group, come and join like-minded and friendly enthusiasts for a chat, whilst you create.

We enjoy knitting, sewing, jewellery making; any kind of hands on creative craft!
Always happy to share our skills, we encourage inspiration and conversation.

Abergavenny Lip Reading

Run by The ALRG

An opportunity to develop your lip reading skills, gain confidence
and spend the morning with like-minded language enthusiasts. A
wonderful opportunity to help yourself and others around you with
hearing difficulty.

The aim is to learn about the many aspects of lipreading, including
vowel and consonant sounds and how they are formed through lip shapes
as well as minimising the impact of hearing loss in many everyday situations

Tuesday’s 10am – 12pm in Classroom 1.
