Swing from Paris are a quartet inspired by the great swing bands of the 1930s, ’40s and '50s: Benny Goodman and Charlie Christian meets Django Reinhardt, Stéphane Grappelli and the Hot Club of France. Since their formation in 1996 Allan Yn Y Fan has carved out a reputation as one of Wales’ foremost traditional bands, with an impressive catalogue of concert, twmpath, festival and recorded work, as well as a number of European tours to their credit. Michael W. Thomas’s latest poetry collection is A Time for Such a Word (Black Pear Press). His latest novel is The Erkeley Shadows (KDP / Swan Village Reporter).
