Course Description:
Dive into the world of poetry with A Poet’s Life, a course designed for
aspiring poets. Explore poetic forms, creative expression, and engage in the
life of influential poet, playwright and artivist, Mark Christmas, who will be on
hand to offer encouragement in developing your own, unique poetic voice.
The course is limited to a group of 6 people and offers opportunity to write
then read your work (if you want to).

Please bring all of your own writing material and implements, tea and coffee
will be supplied at a minimal cost.

Course Details:
📅 Start Date: Each Wednesday from 9th July 2025
⏳ Duration: 1830hrs – 2030hrs for 7 weeks
📅 Location: Melville Centre for Arts Abergavenny
📅 Fee: £10 per session or £60 in advance for the full 7 weeks.
At time of booking a deposit is required and full course fees are payable in
full before the course starts.
