This production will feature a new version of Henrik Ibsen's classic drama, created by William Gilbert. Set in a small market town in Wales (not very different from Abergavenny) the play tells the story of the local GP, Dr Tomos Hopkins, whose patients start to present with all the symptoms of a waterborne disease. Michael W. Thomas’s latest poetry collection is A Time for Such a Word (Black Pear Press). His latest novel is The Erkeley Shadows (KDP / Swan Village Reporter). Face your fears and Face the Fire! Hummadruz, Theatr Uwchfioled Cymru, are known throughout the Festival scene for their Ultraviolet Fire shows and Labyrinths. Combining UV and Fire spectacle and circus with the finest DJ mixed soundtrack, this half hour show is an exhilirating experience as our performers do death-defying tricks and light our fire labyrinth.
